South Wake Storm Softball Skills Camp 2022

Thank you to all of the campers that came out to attend the South Wake Storm Softball Skills Camp. Even thought it was extremely hot, all of the athletes powered through to improve their game. We covered Infield and Outfield Defense, Hitting and the younger group even got some Sliding drills in. Looking forward to doing it all again next year!

South Wake Storm

For over two decades the South Wake Storm has helped numerous young girls and boys attain their lifelong goals of obtaining a college education while participating in collegiate sports. Emphasizing on teamwork and fundamentals, our players work hard daily to achieve their goals-both in the classroom and on the diamond.

The South Wake Storm is led by a dedicated volunteer Board of Directors, who oversee the organization and seek to continue providing great opportunities in the community for our youth.  #GoStorm!

2022 Fundrasing Goal - $58,000

The South Wake Storm Youth Sports Association is based out of Fuquay-Varina, NC. Sponsorship and donation funds help provide uniforms, equipment, insurance, practice fields and offset the cost of tournaments.

Your contribution will help support the youth in our community as they focus their time and energy on a team sport that will make them better players, teammates, students and positive members of our Triangle community.

Coach Junior Bailey - Barton College / SW Storm Camp

Watch and listen to Coach Junior Bailey from Barton College work with our Navy and Fulcher teams. He talks about softball skills, what it takes to play at the next level, what he looks for in a player and so much more! The camp was very informative and the teams were very receptive to the wisdom that Coach Bailey was sharing with them.
